OK- here we go again. My stomach seems to be doubling in size each week (thankfully the rest of me hasn't yet!). We finished the baby's room, and John did an awesome job with the wall hangings that Brett and Marguerite sent us, which we love. Now it feels like we are really going to have a baby. Little Snoopy is still hanging out on the right side of my belly and refuses to move, just kicks the same spot over and over again. At 29 weeks, we have started to see limbs move across my belly, like a little alien. Not sure if it is a foot or an elbow, but whatever it is, he is keen to make it known. Otherwise, he seems to be holding up despite his mamma working 30hr shifts every three days, which is a testament to how well his daddy is taking care of me. Hope you all out there are doing well, and can't wait to see you all next month...

This blogging thing is harder to keep up with than I thought (kudos to you Jenn and La). Things here in Charlottesville are moving along. John's football team made it to the "super bowl" and lost to a much larger, crazy good team of giants. But they weren't shut out and made a great effort. See pics of John (defensive coordinator) and our friend Mike (offensive coordinator) below making mid-game changes. The kids were bummed to lose, but they may play in one final bowl game before we call it quits for the season.

Otherwise we are doing well. All of our friends are preggers, and almost all of them having boys. We are really happy for them, and for us (that we have such great friends to navigate this process with). Snoopy's room is coming along. The beautiful crib is assembled and matched perfectly with the changing table, and we found this really beautiful armoire in southern VA. Just some decorating touches (we can't wait to hang the wooden jungle animals that Brett and Marguerite got us) and we'll be done with the decorating. We won some diapers at a raffle at a new parent conference the other day, and all it did was freak us out to see how small they are. The benefit to having a monster baby (if Snoop is anything like his Daddy was) is that he won't seem as fragile. Enjoy the pics, and we will try to post again soon. Go Phillies!
